When Kaspa’s Leeds got in touch with me to write a review on their desserts, I jumped at the chance. I took my boyfriend Gareth with me last week and we had a great experience from start to finish. When you arrive you are greeted at the door and then they take you to your seating area. The menu is huge and packed with a yummy selection of desserts. From waffles, crepes, ice-cream sundaes and milkshakes to smoothies and soda floats, there is something to cure any craving. It reminds me of an old school american diner and is the coolest new place to go when you are in the mood for something sweet.
After we deliberated for a while on which desserts we were going to pick, we decided to order four different ones, you know, just to be thorough…..
What we went for was:
Belgian milk chocolate crepe; Freshly baked hot crepe drizzled with milk chocolate syrup and sprinkled with chocolate flakes. I don’t normally like chocolate on my crepes as I prefer something very simple like a bit of lemon and vanilla ice-cream, however I really enjoyed this dessert.
Reese’s peanut butter cups milkshake; Premium shake. The description is basically exactly what it is. If you love peanut butter then you will love this shake.
Strawberry cheesecake sundae; Irresistible combination of white chocolate and strawberry shortcake scoops, topped of with whipped cream drizzled with strawberry and white chocolate sauce. Have your ‘sweet-tooth’ at the ready and if you love strawberry ice cream, then this one is for you.
Canadian maple waffle: Fresh waffle lightly dusted with cinnamon powder and drizzled with Canadian maple tree syrup served with Ice cream. This one was our favourite, it was tasty and surprisingly light. It is perfect if you’re not a huge dessert lover.
As you can see, we had too many tasty treats to finish in one sitting, so we got the waffle and crepe to take away and have later on that day. Kaspa’s gelato and dessert house is located in various locations around the UK and some of them are on Deliveroo so just head on over to their website, to find out more information.
If you’re thinking that desserts isn’t your thing and you wouldn’t enjoy it, then you couldn’t be more wrong. The menu has something for everyone and I really reccommend paying them a visit.
Have you ever been to Kaspa’s? If so which is your favourite dessert? If not, then get yourself down there!
Hope you loved this blog post as much as I loved the desserts.
