Unwind And Reflect With Vertellis

This blog post is a paid for advertorial in collaboration with Vertellis.

Before I was due to head off to my surprise honeymoon destination, Vertellis reached out to see if I would like to work with them on their Vertellis Chapter’s campaign. Vertellis is a brand that prides itself on “Less small talk, more genuine conversations” and with this in mind, I was hooked straight away. I just knew that I wanted be part of this campaign.

Life for me has been so hectic this year, what with the wedding, blogging as well as working full time etc and I sometimes struggle to switch off and spend quality time with my loved ones. I knew that something had to change and Vertellis’s timing couldn’t have been better. The Vertellis Chapter is a mind-fullness journal which helps you pause and reflect, practice gratitude & become a better version of yourself. As soon as my journal arrived, I knew that I would be taking this along with me on my honeymoon and I’m so happy that I did.

The journal includes powerful quotes as well as encouraging you to write down what you’re most grateful for at that exact moment and scoring your day from 1 to 10. What I love about this journal, is that you don’t have to write in it each day as there’s no dates that are set. You literally choose and pick your own dates whenever you want to write in your journal, there is literally no pressure.

If anything, it just made me more aware of my surroundings and encouraged me to put my phone down more. I was over the moon that my husband had surprised me with a honeymoon to Mauritius, I mean who wouldn’t love that, but the one thing that I was most grateful for was to experience this beautiful island with my husband and have that one on one time.

This would honestly make the best Christmas present this year and the lovely team at Vertellis have kindly given me a discount code for you lovely lot. Use the code doorwaysanddresses15 for 15% off your order, which is valid until the end of December.

When I told Vertellis that I was headed off on my honeymoon, they also kindly sent me a gift which was the Relationship Edition card game. I obviously also took this card game along with me and no joke, Gareth and I played it everyday. It’s not your typical card game and is all about sharing memories and where you see yourselves in the future etc. It’s a question game that will make you put down your phones and discuss the here-and-now as well as the future and how you’re going to make your dreams come true.

I hope the two of you had an amazing time on your honeymoon! The game sounds like a lovely thing to play while you were there. Love the fact that journal doesn’t have dates too x

We had the best time, we didn’t want to come home. The game is amazing, I love it. Really makes you think and yes I love the fact that it doesn’t have dates either. I can highly recommend

Looking up that journal right now! What I want to know, though is which surprise travel agent you used (I think I saw you said your honeymoon was a surprise!) and if you liked them ☺️

Yay, if you do decide to purchase one, make sure you use the code. I don’t get any money from it but you will get 15% off. It was my husband who booked it for me and wanted to surprise me, he worked with someone from the flight centre and they were a dream. I can definitely send you her details but I have heard of those travel apps where when you get to the airport it’s a surprise where you’re going. I want to do this next year xxx
