*ad – This blog post is a paid-for advertorial in collaboration with Teddy Blake, as always my opinions are 100% my own.
Your 9–5 deserves main character energy too — and that’s exactly why I wanted to write this blog post. There’s something transformative about a really good luxury work bag. It’s more than just somewhere to put your laptop or diary. It changes how you show up. The right bag makes you feel organised. Intentional. Polished — even on the mornings when you’re running slightly behind and surviving on coffee.
For the longest time, I felt like “work bag” meant compromise. Practical but bulky. Stylish but impractical. I wanted something that could do both — carry everything I need and still elevate my outfit. Because work style shouldn’t feel separate from personal style. It should feel like an extension of it.

Recently, I’ve been carrying the Nina Crocodile 12″ handbag by Teddy Blake — and it’s exactly the kind of piece that proves you don’t have to sacrifice style for practicality. What drew me to it first was the structure. It has that beautifully defined silhouette that instantly sharpens an outfit, whether I’m wearing tailored trousers and a blazer or a simple shirt dress. It holds its shape throughout the day, which I love — no slouching, no digging around trying to find everything at the bottom.
And while I’ve styled mine in a neutral tone (because I gravitate towards pieces I can wear on repeat), it also comes in a range of different colours — from timeless blacks and creams to richer seasonal shades. So whether your wardrobe leans minimal or you prefer a pop of colour, there’s an option that feels personal to you.
Of course, a work-ready bag has to function — and this one does.
It comfortably fits my daily essentials: phone, cardholder, sunglasses, keys, lip gloss, umbrella (when you live in the UK, you always need this!) — and the structured interior keeps everything organised. It’s compact enough to feel refined, but spacious enough for the things I genuinely carry day-to-day. It’s the kind of bag that works just as well for meetings as it does for dinner afterwards — which, to me, is the true test of a great investment piece.

Even though I initially got this bag for work and meetings, I’ve realised it’s far more versatile than I expected. In fact, it’s slowly becoming my new favourite bag for everything. And I think that’s the sign of a truly great piece — when it moves seamlessly between parts of your life without you even thinking about it. I’ve carried it to meetings, of course. But also to coffee dates, content days, lunch in town, and even casual weekend plans. It works just as effortlessly with tailoring as it does with denim and a knit.
There’s something about the structured silhouette and crocodile texture that elevates even the simplest outfit. It makes a relaxed look feel intentional — like you meant to look that put together.
For me, that’s the sweet spot. A bag that feels polished enough for professional settings, but not so formal that it only comes out Monday to Friday.
Because realistically, the best pieces in our wardrobes are the ones we reach for on repeat.

I’ve started looking at my wardrobe a little differently over the past few years — especially when it comes to workwear. Instead of buying pieces that simply “do the job,” I’m choosing items that feel like an extension of my personal style. Pieces that work hard, yes — but also feel beautiful, considered, and long-lasting. A structured leather bag like the Nina Crocodile 12 is one of those pieces.
It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t follow fleeting trends. It simply does what it’s meant to do — carry your essentials, elevate your outfit, and move with you through your day. And in a world where we’re constantly balancing practicality with presentation, I think that balance matters.
Your 9–5 deserves main character energy too. And sometimes, it starts with the bag you carry.
