Wye Valley Brewery – Trying Something Different

This is a very different kind of blog post today but I’m very excited to share with you all my experience with Wye Valley Brewery and why I agreed to do a collaboration with them. As we all know, I love a cheeky cocktail, but beer has never really been at the top of my list. I don’t mind a fruity beer now and then but if I’m completely honest, I have never had a proper pint of beer. Strange I know! Now, Gareth on the other hand, in true South African style loves a beer (or as he calls it, a coldie).

When Wye Valley Brewery reached out, I headed straight over to their website to find out some more information about the brand and company. I found some incredible information on their site and I just had to share it with you. Gareth was also super happy when I told him that we were going to be sent some beer to review (as you can imagine). So it was happy faces all round!

Wye Valley Brewery has been around since the mid-80’s, using the best ingredients through casks, kegs and bottled beers. Their brand is known for quality and great customer service, and their beers are served in more than 1,200 pubs and bars throughout the West Midlands and South Wales.

In their words, they are a mean green, brewing machine (as they focus on both brewing great beer and being environmentally friendly in the process). This is one of the reasons that I was happy to work with this brand. I love to support companies that want to do their bit for this world. They care about the local community and looking after the land.

It’s safe to say that Gareth loved each and every one of the beers, as did I. I loved exploring my taste buds with the different beers, which again is not like me. Some were stronger than others, but I had a whale of a time trying them all. If you’re like me and you’re unsure about beer, why don’t you try a brewery tour? I haven’t been on one in ages, but I remember visiting a brewery in Cape Town, South Africa and it was super fun. Wye Valley Brewery offers these with a full guided experience so you can see where the beer gets brewed and the best is, you will get to taste them.

I like you have never tried beer before, would you recommend this brand to someone who has never tasted them before? I love that they are environmentally friendly too.

Thanks so much for reading Sarah. Yes I would highly recommend them. It was nice to try different beers to see what I liked and what wasn’t my cup of my tea. If you love beer then you would love this ❤️
