Spring has finally arrived and I for one am very excited. I’ve been craving the warm weather and I know at the moment it’s a little up and down in the UK (surprise, surprise) but I’m confident that the Spring weather we’re all craving is on the way.
Today on the blog, I have collaborated with the lovely team at Matalan to go through some of the items that I’m currently loving from their new holiday shop.
First up, is this side button black skirt, which would be perfect for work/casual wear with an oversized jumper, or you could dress it up on an evening with a cute pair of heels. I teamed this skirt up with a black vest top and a grey oversized boyfriend cardigan, which is perfect for these chilly days we’ve currently been experiencing. I really love this smart yet casual look and I’m definitely all about an oversized cardigan, so I’m really loving this one. I also paired this outfit up with a tote bag which again can be quite dressy or casual and can also work as a great airport/beach bag. Looking forward to taking this with me on my travels this year.
Next up are these striped linen tapered trousers, which are perfect for Spring/going into Summer. In fact Matalan, currently have a varied selection of these style of trousers right now which I’m in love with. They’re very lightweight too, so I’ll definitely be taking these trousers with me on holiday to Greece this year. Overall they’re a great little investment and I can see myself wearing these a lot over the coming months.
Animal print is still a craze for 2019, so I just had to jump on board with this leopard print maxi kimono. I currently don’t have any animal print in my wardrobe, so I was very excited when this arrived. Again, it’s the perfect item for my travels this year. You can wear it as a dress or open over your swimwear on the beach – a look that I’m really looking forward to trying out.
