Leeds has an incredible food scene, and sometimes, the best way to enjoy it is from the comfort of your own home. Whether you’re craving spice, comfort food, or something a little different, here are some of the best takeout options in Leeds that you need to try.

I’ve also included a few extra recommendations because, let’s face it, Leeds keeps popping up with new restaurants left, right, and center! And now that I don’t live right in the city, it’s not as easy for me to get to them all—so a solid takeout list is essential.

It’s the ultimate comfort food with a kick!  Their portions are generous—so you might even have leftovers (if you have any self-control).

Akbar’s Restaurant – A curry lover’s dream

Speaking of curry, no Leeds takeout list is complete without Akbar’s. Their giant naan breads are iconic, and their curries are packed with deep, rich flavours. If you haven’t tried their Chicken Tikka Masala yet, add it to your order ASAP.
