The start of 2025 hasn’t quite gone the way I envisioned. A virus knocked me off my feet, I haven’t felt my healthiest, and honestly, I just haven’t felt like myself. But instead of letting that set the tone for the rest of the year, I’m choosing to reset, refocus, and turn things around.
It’s easy to dwell on a rough start, but I’m reminding myself that one bad chapter doesn’t define the whole story. Every day is a new chance to make positive choices, and I’m leaning into that mindset.
Feeling unwell has made me realize just how important it is to truly look after myself. Going forward, I’m focusing on:
✔️ Nourishing my body with wholesome foods
✔️ Moving in a way that feels good—whether that’s going back to the gym, walks etc
✔️ Prioritising rest and stress management
✔️ Staying hydrated and fuelling my body properly
I’m not aiming for perfection—I’m aiming for progress. Small daily habits will add up, and before long, I’ll feel stronger, healthier, and more like myself again.
2025 may not have started as planned, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a great year. I’m taking control, focusing on what I can do, and embracing the journey. Here’s to feeling better, staying positive, and making the rest of the year amazing!
