Before you start questioning my fashion sense, yes I have owned many blazers in the past but I haven’t for quite some time now and I thought it was time to change that, after seeing many of my favourite Influencers sporting some incredible blazers. I’m definitely not one for following a trend and I know the statement blazer has been around for years, but the year of 2020 has seen the blazer trend rise again and I for one am all for it. The blazer can be worn in many ways and I thought I would share a few of my favourite blazers out there at the moment and show you how versatile they can be.
no productsA statement blazer can really take an outfit from day to night, worn with jeans and a basic tee or a chic summer dress, you really can’t go wrong. I’m personally all for the oversized look if you hadn’t guessed that already and I found this little number on Asos by Pretty Little Thing. I would always go a little oversized with blazers to achieve that more chic look. I recently posted this image on my Instagram feed and I mentioned in the caption that I have just purchased my first blazer and the comments that I was getting were making me laugh so much. It seemed to me that I was the only one that didn’t own a blazer prior to purchasing this one.
To be honest, I have been on the lookout for a chic blazer for a while now and to be fair there are so many out there, I didn’t know which one to go for. Whenever I buy a new piece of clothing, I make sure that I can wear it over and over again with many different items in my wardrobe. That’s why I stuck with the safe choice and purchased a black blazer as I knew it would literally go with every single piece in my wardrobe. I think I will definitely invest in another blazer, perhaps a beige one as we all know I do quite like the neutrals.

I love you in this blazer it looks amazing! I have one blazer jacket that’s tweed and I love it, and apart from that I only have my work one! See so many on Instagram I think I need to invest! Xx
