A Quick Hop to Paradise: My 4-Day Palma de Majorca Itinerary

*ad – This blog post is in collaboration with Jet2holidays.

I’ll be honest—I didn’t realise how quick it was to get to this stunning destination. Flights to Majorca with Jet2 took just over two hours and then boom, you’re in actual Mediterranean heaven. Jet2 fly from airports all over the UK including offering flights from Manchester Airport which is where we flew from.

I was lucky enough to head off on a dream trip to Palma de Majorca thanks to the amazing guys at Jet2, who put together the perfect itinerary. And guess what? I’m sharing it with you, so when you book your own trip (which you absolutely should), you know exactly where to go, what to eat, and where to soak up those golden hour rooftop views.

Day 1: Tapas, Rooftops & Strawberry Daiquiris

After checking into our hotel, the HM Jaime III Hotel with Jet2holidays (a chic spot in the heart of the city), we wasted no time and dove headfirst into the food scene—as one should.

Our first activity was a self-guided tapas tour which was booked by ‘Get Your Guide’. It included 5 tapas and 5 drinks across various local bars. Think of it as a pub crawl’s cultured cousin. Everything was delicious, but the standout for me? Sobresada—a soft, spicy, cured sausage that I hadn’t tried before and it was delicious.

After tapas, we headed back to the hotel for a quick freshen-up and then made our way to the ‘Nakar Hotel rooftop bar’. Cue city views, warm breeze, and a strawberry daiquiri in hand which = a very happy Victoria.

Dinner was at ‘Mouna’, a vegetarian and vegan restaurant and I had the risotto which was lovely. We wrapped up the night with a frozen yoghurt from ‘Yomaro’, which was super refreshing.

Day 2: Culture, Cathedrals & Sunset at Sea

We kicked off the day with a private walking tour of Palma led by a local guide. This was such a highlight—nothing beats exploring a city with someone who actually lives and breathes it. Our guide took us to a cute place called ‘Ca’n Joan de S’Aigo’, where I had my first ‘Granizado de Almendra’ (a refreshing almond drink with sugar) and a chocolate palmera pastry that transported me back to childhood in the Canary Islands.

We then went to Palma Cathedral, where we had entry to the cathedral and the terraces (the views up there? Unreal). Lunch was more tapas (no complaints) at La Malvasia, before setting sail on a sunset boat trip around the Bay of Palma with ‘Sailing Palma’. They had a paddle board, a bluetooth speaker, and welcome drinks were all included—plus, yes, more tapas. I mean, when in Spain…

Day 3: Trains, Trams & Portside Dips in Sóller

Day 3 was a dreamy escape into the mountains and countryside of Majorca. We hopped on the century-old wooden train to Sóller, which winds through the Tramuntana Mountains, orange groves, and tunnels that make you feel like you’re travelling through a storybook.

After some exploring in Sóller, we boarded the tram down to Port de Sóller, where we had lunch at ‘Villa Luisa’ (gorgeous spot, highly recommend). With the temperature reaching 36 degrees, a dip in the ocean was non-negotiable. Crystal-clear, refreshing, and a total vibe (don’t even get me started on those views)

Dinner that night was at ‘Primo Taqueria’, a quirky restaurant with a street-food feel. Think Mexican-Californian fusion, tasty cocktails, and an overall good vibe. The food? Chef’s kiss.

Day 4: Coffee, Wandering & Valldemossa FOMO

Though we weren’t flying home until the evening, we made the most of our final day by wandering the streets of Palma, stopping in at some of the cutest coffee spots on the island. I’m talking:

  • Surry Hills
  • Mano Coffee
  • Arabay Coffee
  • Mama Carmens

Each one had a vibe of its own—perfect for people-watching, or just refuelling after 3 days of indulgence.

Some of the girls headed off to Valldemossa, a beautiful mountain village that I now must see on my next trip. Based on the photos alone, it’s a fairytale in real life.

Final Thoughts: Book It. Seriously

Majorca completely surprised me. It’s close, gorgeous, full of flavour, and the perfect blend of city, coast, and countryside. If you’re after a long weekend that feels like a proper holiday without the long-haul jet lag—Palma is it.

Huge thanks to Jet2 for making this unforgettable. From the food to the views to the stunning experiences, this itinerary had it all—and now it’s yours too. Be sure to check out all their Palma Hotels to find the perfect accommodation for you.

So… what are you waiting for? Jet2 offer incredible budget friendly city breaks – go and check them out and thank me later 🙂
