Cleansing With Forever Aloe Vera Gel Drinks

It’s cleanse time! Can you believe I’ve never actually done a cleanse before in my life? The fab thing with this is, it’s more of a lifestyle change than a quick fix cleanse that will only last a week before I get bored with it. I have been chatting to a few people recently to get their view on drinking Aloe Vera gel drinks and to be honest, I received a mix of opinions. I was pretty excited, although a little apprehensive, to try it for myself and for the past 2 weeks I have been having my 100ml shot of the Aloe Vera gels each morning (minus my birthday weekend haha).

I was kindly sent over three different flavours to try, which were the Aloe Peaches, Aloe Berry Nectar and the Natural Aloe Vera gel. As mentioned, I was quite nervous to try the products to begin with as I had heard a mix of reviews in terms of the taste. Some people said they find aloe drinks quite hard to stomach and that the taste takes a bit of getting used to.

I’m so excited that I get to give you all a full and honest review of the Forever Aloe Vera drinks. Let’s get to it:

Forever Aloe Vera Gel

As soon as they arrived, I placed them in the fridge as I heard they are best served cold. My biggest mistake? Going straight for the peach flavour. I should have started with the Aloe Vera natural flavour and worked my way to the Peach and Berry flavours, as I did find this one really hard to stomach. This seems to be the case for most natural aloe vera drinks and not just for the Forever brand specifically. I can honestly say this flavour wasn’t my favourite but if you like the taste of pure Aloe Vera then this one could be for you. This product has been certified by the International Aloe Science Council for its purity. For a 1000ml bottle, the cost is £22.75. This specific flavour is the closest you can get to the real thing, boasting 99.7% inner leaf aloe gel which is extracted by hand.

Forever Aloe Peaches

The Aloe Peaches is definitely my favourite. It’s quite sweet and if I’m being honest it does have a strong aftertaste of Aloe Vera but it’s not too bad at all, in fact after a week, my taste buds adjusted to the taste and I now look forward to my daily dose. With natural peach purée and vitamin C, this specific flavour will really take you back to those beautiful summer days. A huge bonus is that it’s enhanced with 84.3% pure Aloe Vera gel which will help support immune function and skin health. Sign me up for a gallon please!

Forever Aloe Nectar Berry

The Aloe Nectar Berry is pretty enjoyable and has a flavour that you’ll get used to and enjoy. It also packs a strong aftertaste of Aloe Vera. All the drinks are amazing for your skin and immune system. Although this flavour is quite sweet, it also has a nice tang to it and is enriched with Vitamin C. With 90.7% pure inner leaf Aloe Vera gel, the Nectar Berry comes in at a close second in terms of my favourite out of the range.

When the new year hit, I caught the dreaded flu once again which was super annoying. It’s the start of a new year and I so wanted to get back into that healthy routine but my body is saying otherwise at the moment. I started drinking the Aloe Peaches each morning and within 3 days, I started to feel more like myself again.

Granted this product might not be for everyone and I know a lot of people are put off by the taste, but that’s why I think Forever Living created a few different flavours to make it more enjoyable. These are some of the benefits that you’ll enjoy when drinking Aloe Vera:
