Everyone Needs A Teddy Coat This Season

I have wanted a Teddy Coat for some time now and I have finally got my hands on one! Temperatures are starting to drop and once again it’s time to wrap up in your winter coats. If you’re like me, I have like a million but I do re-use them each year. People might think the Teddy coat is now a has-been, but they are literally everywhere and I’m finally jumping on the fashion trends of the season.

You will probably see this little number from Matalan continuously on my Instagram – hope you don’t get bored. This Faux Fur Teddy Boyfriend Coat is the perfect Teddy Coat for the season and I don’t know where I would be without it. They also have this coat in red which would be perfect for the festive season – Hmm I might have to get it! Priced at £35.00, it’s definitely a bargain compared to some other coats around right now.

Who started the Teddy Coat trend? It was actually first designed for men, with legendary Mick Jagger wearing his in the 1960s. Might have to get you one Gareth, what do you say? There are so many different variations of these coats out there and I must say, what I love the most is that it’s the over-sized look which is right up my alley (as if you didn’t know already). What’s your vote on this Teddy trend? All for it or so last year. Either way, let’s bring it back as I personally love it.
