Yesterday, Gareth and I decided to take the day off to explore more of the city that we have called home for the past 5 years. Leeds is such a unique place to live and there are still many places that we need to visit and what better way to share my fashion trends for a day exploring in the city with you. Also, I thought I would take this opportunity to share my first ever lookbook in collaboration with Oasis, in which the brand and I have collaborated once again with the stunning Frankie Bridge on her very own collection. The launch will go live on the 5th of March in stores and online with prices starting at as little as £15.00.
From the new ‘Frankie collection’, you will find subtle floral print dresses, ribbed knits and longline coats along with sophisticated animal print designs. Although I had my eye on the Darcy Boiler Suit, I decided to go for the Duster Trench Coat instead as it was more apt for the weather we’ve been experiencing lately. This versatile trench is the perfect look to transition into that effortless spring style, with a tie belt that really flatters the waist. If you’re like me and are a fan of the oversized look then I would go one size up for that extra chic look.
I have been on the lookout for a new pair of chic black boots for some time now, forget about the heels ladies, I am all about comfort nowadays. These ‘Lace Up Buckle Boots’ had my name all over them and although I’m a proud owner of multiple boots, one more pair doesn’t hurt hey? These specific boots have a lace up front with buckle detail and a side zip fastening. These will look super cute in the summer with a floral dress or oversized large t-shirt dress and also would look quite chic with a pair of ripped jeans and a white tee.
Along with my boot obsession, if you asked Gareth what my biggest shopping habit is, he is 100% guaranteed to say handbags. He’s not wrong! I just love them. I’m so in love with this little ‘Whipstitch Cross Body Bag’ which is perfect for transitioning into spring. This neutral dusty pink handbag gave a little pop of colour to my on-trend look this weekend.
With storm Jorge making an appearance, Gareth and I took a break from exploring outdoors and headed to the Tile Cafe which is situated on the Headrow. It’s a stunning spacious cafe with grand marble columns and a mosaic ceiling – perfect look for the gram guys! This was our first visit and definitely not the last. As it’s situated within the art gallery, we thought it would be rude not to have a look around and take in the beautiful artwork whilst we were there. I can highly recommend it – I’ll grab a few snaps to share with you the next time I’m there.
*This post contains gifted items from Oasis to support the launch of the Frankie Bridge Collaboration. As always, my opinions are 100% my own.
