If you have been following me for a while now, you will know that I am a lover of hats and if you didn’t know guys, then where have you been? I got so tired of not having any room to put my hats and let’s face it, the most annoying thing ever is squeezing your oversized hats into a drawer, then getting them back out to wear them and they have lost their shape. Not fun! So, I took to one of my favourite apps, that’s right you guessed it – Pinterest, to find inspiration on how I could display my hats. Welcome to my hat wall!
There isn’t really any right or wrong way to create your hat display but for me I have 3 tips that could really help you, let’s get into it:
Arrangement of your hats
Select your favourite hats that you want to display on your wall and place them on the floor. Arrange them by size and colour. If you have a favourite one that you wear often and you didn’t want to place it on your wall, then why not hang it on the side of your mirror or a clothes rail.
The correct tools to hang your hats
If you are wondering what tools you can use to hang your hats but worried about using a hammer and nail (especially if you’re renting), head on over to Wilkos and pick up some designer hooks. If you wanted to change the display in the future, maybe moving into another room or you’re moving house, these will easily peel off and will not leave a mark. Voila!
Hang your hats
Now it’s time for the fun part, that’s right- time to hang those hats! It really is that simple. The trickiest part is making sure that you don’t wear the same hat all the time, otherwise the rest of them will get jealous!
It looks great!! So creative.
