4 Hydrating Skincare Masks That You Need To Try

If you know me by now, you will know that I love everything about skincare and during lockdown it has definitely gone up a notch, if that’s even possible. I thought I would share with you my 4 favourite but very different hydrating skincare masks. I have always suffered with dry skin and these products, along with my overall skincare routine, have really helped.

This post contains some gifted PR items but I was under no obligation to post and as always my opinions are 100% my own.

Hydrating Skincare

Garnier

Garnier Moisture Bomb

In my eyes, you really can’t beat this brand. It’s super affordable and these masks cost around £3.00 depending if retailers have sales/offers etc. You can purchase them at your high-street stores like Boots and Superdrug. This one is the Moisture Bomb tissue mask which is for super hydrating and anti-fatiguing your skin. You receive 1 mask within a packet and they contain Lavender and Hyaluronic Acid. You only need to apply the mask for 15 minutes and it’s so soothing.

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

I think we all know by now that I am a true lover of Dermalogica products and I have been using this brand for just over a year now. The Hydro Masque Exfoliant was recently launched and I joined their Zoom event to find out more information on the new product. The one thing that really caught my eye was that you only have to apply the mask for 3-5 minutes, which is perfect if you don’t have the time for a 15-30 minute mask. Some of the benefits of using the mask is that it exfoliates with bamboo and delivers luminous and healthy looking skin. It also hydrates with snow mushroom, you might be thinking what on earth is snow mushroom? Because I know I sure was. Basically, snow mushroom has been used in skin care procedures for centuries with its high concentration of vitamin D, water holding capacity and its ability to boost immunity in cells – fancy hey! I found this product super hydrating and my skin was glowing, although my skin did feel a little tight after removing the mask at first. It is a spenny product and you’re looking at £55.00, however, you only need to use the mask 1-2 times a week and I believe it would definitely last you a few months.

Riversol

Riversol Hydrating Antioxidant Mask

I have used Riversol products before but I have never tried any of their face masks and I must say that I am really impressed. Dr Jason Rivers designed this facial mask to replenish the skin for lasting moisture and it contains powerful antioxidants. They advise weekly treatments and I have been applying this mask once a week. It feels so nice on the skin and once removed, your skin feels so smooth. You leave this mask to develop for 15-20 minutes and it’s such a treat.

Antipodes

Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask

First of all, I am obsessed with this product and its packaging. This is the first time I am ever trying this brand and it won’t be the last. So far, I have only used this mask once and I love how easy it is. To be honest, it feels like you’re applying a moisturiser as it’s quite creamy. You literally leave the mask on for 15 minutes and remove with warm water. My skin was instantly glowing and felt really hydrated. Antipodes is a New Zealand brand, however, you can buy their products through Look Fantastic & Feel Unique.
