My Top 3 Favourite Local Dining Restaurants In Leeds

This post contains a paid for advertorial in collaboration with Bookatable. I thought it was about time that I shared with you all my current top three places to eat within Leeds City Center. I live about a 10-15 min walk from the city, which is so convenient as we have a variety of places to eat. We really are spoiled for choice in this city! If you’re keen to browse through and visit a whole list of Leeds restaurants then head on over to Book A Table and take your pick.

Banyan

I was recently invited down to Banyan to try out their new menu and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve been to Banyan before for drinks but this was the first time that I have actually eaten there. I took my husband Gareth with me and straight away we received a warm welcome and the interior of the restaurant/bar was just so beautiful. You probably have heard of Banyan before as it is in a number of cities but the one in Leeds city center is the first one I’ve visited. If you did want to try out their new menu, they currently have 40% off at their Leeds restaurants – which is amazing and they also offer bottomless brunch (why on earth have I not tried a bottomless brunch yet?) Here’s a little rundown of the 3 course dinner that Gareth and I chose.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe

When I heard we were getting a new Thai restaurant in Leeds, I got so excited! I was kindly invited down to their launch party where I got to try out some delicious Thai cuisines. I just need to point out that the Thai cocktails were divine and you need to try one like yesterday! This was a great opportunity for myself and Gareth to head down to the event to see if it lives up to all the good things we heard and if it’s somewhere we would like to book in for dinner in the future. Honestly, it 100% was. The food was incredible and the service blew me away. They’re all super friendly and can’t do enough for you. I’m heading back there with Gareth in a few weeks time and can’t wait, so make sure you’re following me on Instagram where I will be documenting everything there. Also, make sure to check out this new Thai Leeds restaurant and thank me later!

LIVIN’italy

How could I not include an Italian restaurant in this blog? Say hello to LIVIN’italy dough house located opposite the Corn Exchange in Leeds city center. I was so excited when Gareth and I got invited down to this Italian gem as I have heard so many good things about this place. We have Italian friends and they said it was incredible so this made me even more eager to go. We started off with a cocktail and I chose the Limoncello Spritz and I’m not even exaggerating here when I say it’s the best that I’ve had in a long time. The pizza blew me away, we had a 20inch half and half to share and it was delicioso. If you’re on the hunt for some Italian food, make sure you head down to LIVIN’italy dough house for a real taste of Italian food. LIVIN’italy is no doubt one of the best Leeds restaurants in my opinion and we’ll definitely be back.

Mmmmmm these places look sooooo yummy! I need to take a trip up to Leeds, I haven’t explored much of England tbh compared to countries abroad. I’ll definitely order the Tortellini when I’m at Banyan 🙂
