Which Travel Destinations I’m Adding To My Bucket List

Travel is a huge part of my life, I love experiencing new places and exploring the world. I have been so fortunate so far, to visit some of the most beautiful places on this earth but there’s still so much to see. Lately, I have been thinking about where I would like to go next, so I thought I would create a bucket list of dream places that I can’t wait to visit. I have settled for picking my top 5 places, as otherwise this blog post could go on for a very long time! Let’s sit back, grab a glass of wine and get cracking!

San Francisco

Situated in Northern California, I’ve wanted to visit this city for some time now and I know Gareth is equally looking forward to the day that we actually get out there. Hopefully very soon 🙂 A few members of my family have been and loved it. One thing that I 100% know is that I would definitely go do the Alcatraz Escape from the Rock tour. I have watched so many movies on this place and have always been very intrigued by Alcatraz. Also just to add, the perfect trip for me would be to visit 3 completely different places in America – watch this space!

 Bora Bora

Welcome to pure paradise! It looks like the ideal place to just relax and take in the beautiful views. Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti based within the French Polynesia islands. I’m literally so desperate to visit the island and I know it’s so cliche, but I would also love to visit the Maldives. (See how I slipped another destination in there – cheeky!)

Prague

Closer to home and hoping to check this European city off my bucket list very soon is Prague. I’ve been wanting to visit this city for a while now and to be honest I don’t know why I haven’t been yet, it’s literally like a stone’s through away from the UK – compared to the other places I want to go anyway. Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is mostly known for its Old Town Square. Beaming with history, just get me there already!

Canada

I have been wanting to visit Canada for years now. I actually wanted to apply for the working holiday visa after I spent a year in Australia but I was too late and went to work on cruise ships instead. I would love to do a tour and spend time in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Banff and Whistler. I genuinely feel like I could live over there, even though I haven’t been yet. To be honest, I think that Canada is one of the places that is at the very top of my bucket list.

Bali

How is it possible? On the fifth one already. This was difficult but Asia is at the top of my bucket list. I wanted to visit Bali when I was travelling Australia but ran out of money. I’m desperate to visit Asia and Bali is right up there. I would also love to visit Vietnam. There is something about Bali that really draws me to it and I think as soon as I get there (whenever that will be) I will never want to leave.

Hope you enjoyed my top 5 travel bucket list places to visit (as well a few cheeky ones that sneaked in there). I would love to know if you have visited any of the above places and what’s on your travel bucket list? I’m also going to write a blog post of my 5 favourite places to travel in the world that I have already been to as well, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

All of these are on my list too! I got an email from Jack’s flight club about flights to San Fran from Heathrow for £285 last week and I was SO tempted. But I think with my budget at the moment, Prague is probably more realistic! We didn’t get a chance to get to Bali when we went to Asia, so we’ve decided next time we go back we’ll go there and to The Phillipines. Canada is on my list for a potential ski season! I got a visa when I finished uni but changed my plans, but I’d love to go. Bora Bora looks dreamy, it’s just so far away 🙁

Hi Charlotte, thank so much for reading and glad you enjoyed the post. The flight cost from San Fran from Heathrow sounds like a right bargain, I would have also been tempted. Prague is very realistic for me right now also and I think I’m going to try and get out there in January for the weekend. Wow The Philippines, I would also love to visit there xxxx
