What an incredible month this has been, the sun has been shining non-stop, the World Cup has been incredible (super sad we didn’t make the final) and it’s the Wimbledon final today.
Tennis fan or not, everyone loves Wimbledon! From strawberries and cream to the jugs of Pimms, it’s the best atmosphere. I used to have tennis lessons as a child but it’s not something that I really ever took seriously. Gareth (the fiancé ) on the other hand loves tennis so much that I do believe once upon a time he could have gone professional, his Dad was a tennis coach and was the number 2 tennis player in South Africa. If you ever ask Gareth who his idol is, he always responds by saying, Roger Federer. If anyone personally knows Roger then please hook me up with some contact details so I can make Gareth’s dream come true. Thank you!
As you all know, I live in Leeds, Yorkshire and the weather up here has been super hot, so we thought we would head up to Roundhay Park to enjoy the beautiful weather and have a game of tennis. I have kindly been gifted some amazing treats from Christy Home and I was literally so excited to find they had included 2 of the towels that the Wimbledon tennis elite are using this year, as Christy has been the Offical Towel Licensee for over 30 years. If you have been watching Wimbledon and you are obsessed with the unique design of the towels and you would like to buy one as a souvenir, then head on over to Christy Home where you can purchase your very own personalised towel. You could also receive a free gift if you spend over £60.00.
If you are based in Leeds and you are wanting to have a game of tennis then I can highly recommend Roundhay Park as just opposite they have tennis courts and the best thing is they are free of charge. If you have never played before or just want some tips then let me know as Gareth could always teach a few lessons now and then.
After today, what am I going to do with myself? There is no World Cup and no Wimbledon – but oh wait, there is still Love Island. Can’t forget about that now can we!
Thanks again to Christy Home for the amazing gifts that you sent over to me, I love them and feel incredibly spoilt.
