2019 Round Up: A Year Of Pictures & Memories

I’m already feeling so emotional whilst writing this blog post. This year has been the best yet, from working with some amazing brands to seeing my blog grow and of course marrying my soul mate. If I could sum up how I feel about the year 2019 in two words, it would be – INSANELY FABULOUS.

As much as I love the Christmas season, I can honestly say that New Years is where it’s at for me. I love looking back at the year and seeing how far I have come, what I have learned and what I will be reaching for moving into the year ahead. I wrote a similar post last year which was ‘2018: A Look Back Over The Year In Pictures’ and thought I would write something similar to end the most epic of years and the decade – WOW!

Although, every year we face challenges, 2019 has been a pretty epic one for us and one I will cherish for life.

January

Taking a break and re-evaluating my blog for the year 2019 and where I want to take Doorways & Dresses, as well as hunting for my perfect wedding dress.

February

‘Pinch me’ moment alert, starting a collaboration with Dermalogica and becoming one of their Skincare Influencers.

March

Collaborated with skincare brand Bilou, luxury brand Whittard of Chelsea, Vela Flowers, Otty Sleep as well as being involved in the big NHS Thank You campaign. I also purchased my wedding dress and wrote a blog post on my whole experience.

April

The launch of the Dermalogica Prisma Protect, my first ever Blogger event with Dakota and landing my first fashion collaboration with Matalan.

May

Collaboration began with Beautify, Wye Valley Brewery and an awesome event with the National Railway Museum for the Wang Fuchun One Billion Journeys exhibition. Also, it was Hen Party time which was just incredible.

June

An incredible donut collaboration with Krispy Kreme & getting married in Greece.

July

A trip to Manchester with National Express Coaches & the NHS Heatwave campaign.

August

Attending the launch of the Love Letters jewellery collection by Esme Louise and a collaboration with Gaston Luga.

September

Started working with fashion brand Luna Boutique, chose my perfect prints for our flat in collaboration with Poster Store and hosted a competition with Thomas Sabo.

October

The launch of my first ever Blogtober, working with Rituals Cosmetics and working with Matalan on an Autumn fashion campaign.

November

Headed off on my surprise honeymoon to Mauritius and was blown away by how beautiful the island was. Thanks so much to my husband for the incredible trip he kept under wraps for a year.

December

Winding down the year with a low-key Christmas spent with family.
