Who else is in the festive spirit because I sure am! The tree is up and I am already planning my gift buying, so I thought I would put together a little affordable gift guide for inspiration this year. So let’s just “step” right in shall we?

Something for the whole family

For the past 2 years, Gareth and I set each other budgets for Christmas so we don’t spend a silly amount on one another, because I can really go overboard sometimes as I just love spoiling people. Since watching the Queens Gambit (I guess like the rest of the nation), I got obsessed with Chess. Now, I have never played before but Gareth has and he mentioned last year that he wouldn’t mind a chess set. Unfortunately, I had already reached the budget so I thought this is the year that we can finally get a chess set, because you know, then it would be for both of us. Skincare Options

Everyone loves skincare right? There are so many amazing brands and products out there for men and women. The Body Shop have some great options at the moment with the most beautiful packaging. Other brands that I love are Antipodes, Dermalogica and PIXI. Also, a great idea for your loved ones are spa days. If you are in the Yorkshire area, I hear that Titanic Spa is beautiful but I haven’t been yet – watch this space….

Something for the kids

If you have children of your own or within the family and you are struggling with what to buy, look no further. Normally, I would go for the clothing option but sometimes this can be tricky if the parents don’t like your style and if you get the sizing’s wrong, so as I mentioned before with the chess set, Jaques of London have some incredible options for children including wooden toys and wooden games.

For the Photographer

Are you a content creator, wanting to get into photography or perhaps want to take it up as a hobby? As you know, I love photography and if you are looking for a great brand, I can highly recommend Nikon. This is the only brand of cameras along with Sony that I have used. You can even look at second hand stores and I would even recommend going somewhere like Curry’s so you can check out all the cameras in person. It’s always good to learn new things.

Are you like me and love a paper diary? I am obsessed and would much rather have everything in my little diary than on my phone. Maybe that’s strange and I need to join the rest of you in 2021, but I love to have things written down and I honestly couldn’t live without it. Other fun ideas for the worker-bee are: journals, notebooks, calendars and stationary products.

Fragrance Galore

I am so fussy with fragrances and I know exactly what I like. Yes, some fragrances can be super expensive but you can find incredible fragrances that won’t break the bank. I love Zara for affordable perfumes and they always have tester samples so you can try before you buy. Perfect for women and men.
